But I know, I'm just making this shyt up..:pachaha:

Like I said, could be nerves... Might need to just get used to the new environment.... The nikka is my fav football player of all time but I REFUSE to just ride the nikka blindly...

You get Michael Irvin, Dieon Sanders, Chris Carter, Keyshawn Johnson all on a Panel with Ray lewis.... 4 nikkas is gonna be cuttin up, joking around, acting a fool.... The other gonna be in a corner on his Gizmo shyt.....:hamster:

If I'm lying I'm flying....:manny: Carry on with the blind riding brehs

Well, for someone who is recently working the commentator job, you can give him some slack. It might work out and it might not. You can't compare him to Cris Collinsworth who has been doing it for decades. Who knows how good or bad Cris was in his first year of commentating.
Ray Lewis' inside knowledge of the game is what makes him an asset because we, the viewers, do not want to hear a non-player commentator to make the re-iteration of statements created by a sports analyst.

At the end of the day, espn/the commentator position just needs more variation

I love hodgie cause dude was a fukkn fullback. When he shat on keyshawn for taking a breather on the sideline, I knew he was GOAT.

Ray brings that fukkn intensity. But he brings it from an patient/intellectual point of view too.

Could you imagine the convo's that go on between Sapp, Hodge, Harrison and Ray? That shyt must be :blessed:

We just need more perspectives. Eventually we gotta get a certified GOAT kicker up there who the people respect. I think Mark does a great job holding it down for offensive linemen too.

I don't want anymore QBs, WRs or HBs though. Don't need to hear more glorified talk. Y'all got all the shine during your playing years. Time to allow the people that made y'all famous an opportunity to provide some insight on the game.

Oh and John Lynch is great at calling the game. Kudos to him too.

Ray Lewis is my fav football player of all time.... and I find his commentary cringe worthy right now.... Thread cant really be serious...

He stumbles on his words a lot, seems timid at times (very surprising), and doesn't seem to interpret things too well / get his point across clearly sometimes.... And doesn't seem to take jokes too well (not that he gets upset at jokes, but his reactions are just awkward... like he's uneasy and praying nobody brings up the murder from 13 years ago)

Example: on this monday night football, stu scott said: "Ray, you've played in New Orleans... You've played in Seattle... What is DIFFERENT, about these home crowds than others"

Instead of talking about how these buildings are even LOUDER than others and how its something different... Ray just starts talking about home field advantage in GENERAL... saying, "Home crowd is a big help" :dahell:

nikka WE KNOW THAT.... He was talking about what makes THESE 2 home crowds different than all the rest....

Ray just a lil slow right now.... He doing better than Shaq his first year on the job.... He should be polished up and confident by next year hopefully...

This is exactly what I was thinking last night. He's passionate, of course... but he stumbles on the point he's trying to make/doesnt quite know how to word his expressions. Dilfer is the best of the on-field analysts. He knows how to phrase things perfectly. I even catch Steve stumbling out there. Ray will improve though. There are times where he nails his point of view then others, not so much. Waaaaaaay better than Jerry and Emmitt though.
