Why do people think it's all about money? 
People envy millionaires and their lifestyles so much that they base their opinions on that. Ray Rice is rich. he is on the downside of his career and got his last big payday. She has a college degree and can support her self is she wants. She has a supportive family. WHY is the ONLY reason she would marry him and support him because of money?
And why do people get mad when someone doesn't respond or react to their own views

You're right, but why should his behavior off the field prevent him from making a living off his skills? Banning him from the NFL is excessive. To me, it's an example of the double standard governing behavior that black athletes are held to.

How does businesses having the right to protect their image conflict with the notion Rice was overpunished, partially for being black and rich? The NFL shouldn't prioritize invidious, racialized public sentiment over Rice's right to fair treatment. Rice should be suspended and reinstated when things calm down.

The NFL is afraid of pissing off people that don't even watch NFL games. Hundreds of players have gotten arrested over the years, for various crimes from drug possession to manslaughter. Does that mean the NFL condones it OF COURSE NOT!
If anyone expects every single player in the NFL to be model citizens and role models, they're living in a fantasy world. Society isn't like that, and most companies don't consist of model citizens.
