wym by this?
I been a big Daylyt fan since like 2015 I think.

He's just that nice as a battle rapper.

Ab Soul and Kendrick are my 1a, 1b.

If Joey can match Daylyt, then it's fair to say he can match K Dot on a diss record.

Daylyt and Soul battled to a draw.

Just my analysis. :manny:

But also, I think we downplaying Joey's talent like we do Cole's.

Put all biases aside and just on a musical level.

Edit: By match, not saying Joey is better than Kenny on a lyrical level, I'm saying he could put up a fair match.

Cole would've did it if he didn't bow out.

This is why my top 3 are:

Kendrick
Cole
Joey

But I'm out, ya'll got this. Ray Vaughn y'all favorite rapper.

He cooked the actor with no plaque.

He has multiple plaques:dahell:

-Gold and 2x platinum for Devasted
-Gold for Survival Tactics
-2x platinum for Love is Only a Feeling
-Gold for Temptation
-Diamond for co-writing Post
Malone's Rock Star

He may not release music much because he's getting money elsewhere but Joey is more accomplished than given credit for. How many indie, semi underground, 90's boom bap influenced artists have a chart topping diamond song on their as well as their own gold platinum plaques?

never really been a fan of the whole battle rap scene
but
from what ive heard from lyt yeah he can go

and yeah that soulo & lyt battle proved that they can match up with each other

only ones downplaying joey talent is the obvious trolls/bots
cause joey really nasty
especially 1999/summer knights joey
i do think he kinda dumbed himself down
to further his songwriting talents b4da$$ to present

but as far as rapping goes he really like that
AND

FUKK FOLD:pacspit:

that mf let me down:mjcry:

and even then when it come to the actual music i think joey better at actually making songs and isnt cringe/corny the way fold is

Yea, i respect it but nıggas wanna see blood and that battle would've been epic so I get the frustration.

I'm talking, divided forum of the greatest rapper of this gen Cole/Kendrick levels. Drakes career would've gotten bodied either way.

But then.....this nıgga took the Andre 3000 route, kumbaya'd with everyone then disappeared.

Part of it is because he found out Drake was setting him up to beef with Dot and it was fake.

My issue with Cole is that he apologized to Drake's bıtch ass.

I think the industry wanted them 3 to beef and when Cole said fụck this fake shıt, they blackballed his whole career.

He said it was a lose/lose on record.

you can’t say Drake was setting Cole up if Cole apologized to Drake. Which is it?

Cole was the one saying all the shyt Kendrick even was referencing in Like That. Drake didn’t even mention Kendrick at all.

This shīt sounds better than Kendrick lol
Problem is that Drake gives people so much ammunition to attack him with. Drake’s fame always backfires on him. Everything about him is out there and it’s not even enough. Not much more for Ray to throw out against Joey…without just going DARK
