The bias is lame. on both sides.
i knew immediately after the battle couldn't take nikkas word on it.

dudes pushing a narrative and aint quoting none of verbs bars, lmao
but mook got several quotables tho. ironically even his haters know the ill remedy holla verb scheme, the bars about verb mom, and the alcohol scheme.

I got Verb 2-1. The 1st and 2nd round. Mook was kinda corny I thought his 3rd was choppy but it was his best round. Verbs 3rd was great too.

Regardless, nikkas was talkin bout some "that was arguably the greatest scheme ever" when it happened while I was sitting back like........ "really?"

It's just funny the inconsistencies y'all nikkas have.

nikkas talkin bout body language/Mook talkin through Verb rounds but I remember bringin up da same thing when Tay Roc was talkin all through Brizz rounds and nikkas was like......."so what"

Trust, I'm not defending Mook, I'm defending consistency and non-biasedness. And so far I'm seein nikkas have problems wit shyt Mook was doin in this battle they never had problems wit before.

I don't know about Mook but Daylyt performed that scheme very well. Was aggressive, delivered his punches at the right time, flow was nice. If somebody performed that in a monotone voice of course it wouldn't be great. It seems like Mook had some dope lyrics but he didn't really perform to that 'GOAT level that people hype him up to be. Don't get me wrong, I'm not comparing him to some monotone rapper. The thing is, Mook beat Iron and Lux with his performance, not his lyrics. Just watching the first round vs Verb, there was probably some shyt I didn't catch, I did catch the MP3/CD scheme tho and that was alright. But if battles were judged just off lyrics, there'd be more judged battles and the judges would have transcripts that they stick to when making their decision.

I think that's what the problem is. Like just because Mook's lyrics might have been better than Verb's doesn't mean he did better than Verb because Verb came also came with decent lyrics as well as performance, aggression, angles, delivery etc and so people have that in mind but then they only get stuck talking lyrics.

Anyway, I should probably watch more than one round

You got some people really acting like Mook was rapping cryptic codes off of ancient scrolls or something.

“You wanna smell a body? I can loan/cologne that” :stopitslime:

“Baaaaa/Bad...GOAT” :beli:

You ain’t gotta listen 30 times to catch what he was saying. Compare his first round to let’s say...Lux’s first round against Arsonal. Mook didn’t really have bars like that.
