you get some nice perks doing it, but nothing you really need, or can't get elsewhereThough that isn't a good idea in the long runAlways had new ammo on deck

Most modern games are boring as fukk and I'm real sick of tutorials
If I can't jump right into game like x-men 2 on the genesis and pick up on the controls/gameplay in under 2 mins your game is trash
RDR2 was insanely boring at the beginning...I didn’t become invested in the story until the very end of ch. 3 and was easily hooked after that
MM’s main story was great but the side missions were a complete bore...but they did a great job of exploiting my OCD so I felt the need to complete everything even tho I really didn’t like any of the side missions...the music sample shyt was the fukking worst
I want to game but both them shyts boring.
The micromanagement on RDR2 on your camp and player was annoying. If I could turn that off game would be funner.
The tutorial alone made me say fukk it on Miles Morales.
Doesn’t need to be AAA or 3D.
i gave up on Outerworlds too. Too much bullshyt to do. I don’t want to just jump in and play but I need a balance of action and little simulation maybe.
I want to shoot shyt in the face but at the same time liked to get immersed in a different world. I hate having to memorize too much shyt I don’t have the patience for jrpg that’s for sure.
Games I’m looking at to maybe give you an idea. Some I just like the art so idk shyt.

I actually held off on getting this game last week on sale due to concerns about the slow start. It’s probably a dumb question but how long does it take to get to the point where things pick up (ie end of chapter 3)? I don’t want to miss out on a good game and the game seems to get lots of praise, but watching the gameplay of the first few hours didn’t really make me want to cop.
then proceeded to pull another no-lifer day and played it for another 10-12 hours the next day...ironically the campaign ended up being better than the online portion so I’m glad I pushed thru itRDR2 is a game that takes itself too seriously. It’s a chore to play. The story and events can be depressing and disheartening. The gameplay is straight outa 2010. Lots of the animations and game systems are downright annoying.
But still, somehow it’s one of my favorite games of the gen. For all the criticisms I can aim at it, it’s still the technical gaming achievement of the gen. No other dev has built such a beautiful, detailed and believable world. It’s the open world game all open world games should strive to even get close to emulating.
Im honestly not even sure I had “fun” playing it, but I still gave it 50+ hours of my life![]()
