I'm like this with the God Father. I know people say it's good but I always fall a sleep when trying to watch it. The Sopranos can be a slow burn because you a wanting to see some gangster shyt every 10min, but to take it in as a whole is a way to see how sociopath work to the *sane. All the characters was complete pieces of shyt but they were just like all of us in some type of way.

I'l have to rewatch that episode again but I think he wanted to show his face; thus hiding his guilt, by coming to the house and then before he could plot again he was arrested and his hitters were starting to get whacked.

It's really the next ep. They have a meeting with all the Capos and Junior that Jimmy called to get info. They all hunky dory, agreeing Jimmy is a rat. I was just feeling like if I was Junior I would be too paranoid to be hanging out with the guy I just tried to wack. I thought I might of missed something like Junior might have reconsidered or something. I guess he was just lacking.

I think Jun has to go to the meeting b/c he's the titular boss and they're seeking his approval. It's just part of the life to be around ppl you're going to kill or have attempted to kill. Similar to Tony B going to Joey Peeps funeral after killing him. It's to show that you're here in person so it couldn't possibly have been you that arranged it or had anything to do with the hit.
I haven't watched S1 in a while so I might be misremembering.
