I bought both PS3/360 early on this gen and play them both regularly, but I think I'm gonna be a PS4 head next gen. The only game that interests me on XB1 is Titanfall and thats coming out for 360, as is DR3, so M$ can kiss my brown ass.

Dr3 is not coming out for 360. And TitanFall probably won't even be the same game.

This thread is looking like similar threads back at the start of last generation. Most people will say it's wasteful or theyre too busy now but by the end of the generation, most people will have at least two consoles. Why are people afraid to say that they don't want to (or maybe even can't) spend that money now though they may spend it later?

Its not about not wanting to spend the money now. It's just that its not worth it at this point in time. Neither console has a strong enough exclusive library at launch to warrant a purchase if your already getting the other. And the way these prices go down, it doesn't make sense to buy a console at the height of its expense, just to let it collect dust untill the price comes down and Halo/uncharted comes out. Might as well wait for the Christmas 2014/15 bundle.

I know I'm a different person than when last gen started. PS4/PC is all I see myself needing this time around honestly.

Never been afraid. And can front the means, if I really felt that I wanted/needed it like that. Never felt the need or want like that though. At best, I MIGHT get a WiiU eventually and even that's just a good maybe.

I agree it doesn't make sense now. I'm actually not getting either a ps4 or xbone this holiday. I'm seeing this as a thread about eventually owning all the platforms. And I stand by my thought that a lot of gamers here will. For example, I don't think most of the xbox crew is going to let the generation go by without playing the next Naughty Dog classic.
