Real Live - The Turnaround: The Long Awaited Drama is one of the most overlooked gems in hiphop

Hardly anyone ever talks about this album, but it's damn near a classic. Damn near because while K-Def's production is immaculate, Larry-O is just servicable on the mic. He won't make anybody's list but he doesn't embarrass himself. I pull this one out every Winter because it's one of the perfect soundtracks for cold weather IMO.

In my memory - this album sits right next to 'The Dirty 30' by the Cru. It was one of the joints I would have grabbed knowing it was cool, but if there was an older album that I knew for sure was dope, I would have copped that instead.

Last time I heard about K-Def was 'It's Over' on 'The Pretty Toney' album.
