He was just that nikka, simple as dat. Building his own lane and shyt. Trynna do his thing, get money. Feed his family type shyt.

But low key. He made joints and could make joints. He was actually talented. N through trial and trubulation. He was at the brink of putting together his own style and sound. His work with velous was testament of that. Plus his other joints showed his range as an artist. If he would focused more on his work with velous people woulda been fukking with it. He was making that hype new eascoast shyt, the way it needed to be done. iLL flow too.

He made music about killing other black people, you reap what you sow :yeshrug:
I wasn't really hip to his music but do you guys really believe if you RAP about violence and get shot and killed you deserved it?

Some of our greatest leaders in hip hop (like Nas and Jay z) have rapped about violence in the first person

cut it out.

they rapped about WAY MORE than that, in far more depth with far more passion.
Agreed

But they also rapped about "putting a barrel in the capo's mouth till his scalp come out"

So according to yall if Nas get a bullet in the back of his head tomorrow he deserved it :manny:

You're deliberately not seeing my point.

Nas and Jay-Z made a positive contribution to hip hop culture and Black culture as a whole. They showed the streets in all its complexities, good and bad. They glorified ignorance at times, but also glorified intelligence, passion, love, etc. And both of them have inspired millions. So you can say their presence has benefited the world. They are artists in every sense of the word.

Chinx is a fukking nobody who looked at rap as his personal bank account. Dude didn't have an artistic bone in his body. He basically tried to ride his way to the top on glorifying ignorance and the pain he caused others. Essentially, Chinx was more blunt about "I have killed or directly caused others to be murked" and "I'ma celebrate that to get paid in rap."

Like I said I'm not too familiar with his music to know if you're exaggerating or not

But I'm gonna guess by your distaste for the guy that you haven't heard all or even half of his music either

I'm sure he has songs that are more positive and good natured than you're trying to lead people to believe

Why would I waste my time listening to ALL or even half of his music? shyt was easily-understood basura. It's not like you need multiple listens across multiple songs to understand Chinx and his perspective. Once you hear 4 or 5 songs at random, then try to hear the "classic" songs his fans say he has, then see who he's running with (French Montana), you know what he's about.

I'm sure he has songs that are more positive and good natured than you're trying to lead people to believe

You mean those generic "keep your head to the sky and dream" tracks that generic hood-love rappers squeeze into their discography here and there?
