It's possible someone else took it, but the squirrel ate the apple after the fact.

I've seen it in middle/early high school, no where else.
My dog ate an 8th one time, I was grinding some up and left it on my desk. I went to gut a blunt in the trash can, when my dog (RIP Pancho ) came rushing in my room and bumped into my desk knocking all the weed on the floor.
The ground weed was lost to the mean streets of my carpet, and he quickly rushed over to sniff/chew a few buds that fell.
If I was really hurting for weed I would've been pissed.
