Real talk: Arkham Knight is the biggest disappointment of the year so far

Hoping this thread is BS. Probably the game I'm most looking forward to on Christmas day

i personally loved the game, was the ultimate batman simulator.

Some people hated the batmobile segments (and I admit, some were definitely shoe horned in) but overall, the game made me feel like I was batman. Ive dreamed of playing a game with a batmobile and it was better than I could have imagined.

Was hoping the DLC would be worth it in the end because I really wanted a reason to boot the game up again, sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Haven't played since July. I might go back to finish the storyline after I finish Bloodborne

Waited to comment on this thread, since I didn't get to play until last month with the Amazon deal.

Overall I'll say this is my favorite Arkham game next to City. The only thing that holds it back is the lack of epic boss fights (I was really disappointed with the Deathstroke battle), the identity of the Arkham Knight and some of the batmobile missions. Other than that, it's the perfect batman game.

However, they really did drop the ball with the DLC, only decent one was Batgirl.

I also didn't like that you couldn't free roam with any of the other characters, like how in City you could run around with Catwoman

To piggy back off this, I woulda paid a lil extra to play the game with the 89 and TDK batmobile (story mode)

Totally agree breh. Dudes wanted the Batmobile and for Rocksteady to switch it up this time around and they did. Some were feeling what they added and some weren't. I did, but the Batmobile definitely felt forced, but Bats would've stayed driving that thing on a night like this when you think about it. Boss fights were pretty meh though, and the DLC was seriously underwhelming. Could've done so much more and some just felt thrown together on some "hey you can play as Harley and Batgirl in this one ".

Still enjoyed it though, but this series had run its course

From what I here the last DLC is trash as well, I think the boss fights are tank fights too but I'm not sure.

The DLC coming out today with Mad Hatter and 3 other villians looks promising. The rest been so disappointing though.

None of the other DLC has been over 20 minutes, so an hour is an improvement I guess.

I was hoping it would be one big expansion with 4 bosses, but after watching that video above, it looks like 4 completely separate things
