Who Bone? I love Bizzy Bone's albums personally, got around 3 classics to me. The Gift, Alpha And Omega and A Song For You. He's got some other really dope shyt too, for example The Midwest Cowbody and Heaven's Movie. Really excellent MC and criminally underrated to me. The other members of Bone's solos didn't capture me as much though I fukk with them, Layzie, Krayzie etc... But haven't heard their solos for a while, Raekwon and Ghost got some projects I fukk with and songs. I remember when originally the question was posed and I didn't know who to pick cause a huge fan of both so I listened to their group albums and I enjoyed Bone's more than Wu's, Bone had more dope group songs to me and that's what made me go with them...

The only Wu solo albums I liked were Liquid Swords and OB4CL. I was never a big wu tang fan anyways.

Cool, different styles, it's so hard to compare the groups cause they are completely different styles, Wu is more straight to the point and gritty, Bone were more melodic, harmonising, more different flows/tempos/rhythm. It's not really a right answer cause it comes down to the preference of what someone likes. I personally appreciate both. In terms Wu solos fukk with the 2 you said, Ironman, OB4CL 2, and some others too. If I had to pick would pick Bone, even solos because of Bizzy's shyt, that was such high calibre work to me but overall in terms of everyone's probably liked Wu shyt more. Feel like both solo group members had missteps on solo albums.

Yeah, that's why I have always been into bone more. Wu on some tracks just sounds like they're rambling, especially Ghostface I can't listen to him that much. I love melodic rap music in general like nate dog, for example, or just in general something that is laid back. When they're able to mix singing and rapping I think that's dope.

How come as individual members they never reached the same success and respect from their peers as did the Wu's individual members? As a group Bone may have achieved commercial success, but have they reached iconic status? Can they produce an album that can be auctioned to the highest bidder that would reach the seven figure bracket? Even their imagery isn't as iconic as Wu. People that don't even listen to Wu want to be down. It's larger than the music, it's legendary now. Forever.
coming in a time where east coast bias was at an all time high it's no surprise
