Real talk: Detectives really ain't about sh1t

i mean my wife watches the ID network 24/7 and all them other shows, so I half watch them too while I'm doing other sh1t. Aside from Joe Kenda, who I honestly believe is good at his job, but also an outlier, the majority of detectives are fukking useless. You watch these shows and even though in the majority of them, they make the detective out to be some kind of hero, most of the time, the criminal either gets caught because they are recklace, or there DNA hits in the system. You rarely see any detectives use any skills to find the murderer. I even have my wife watches them shyts real skeptical now. Also, when they don't find the mirderer for a number of years, they try and make the detectives struggle equal to the family of the victim, GTFOH, you didn't do your fukking job, you get to retire full boat, with a success rate of less than 50% in most cases, and they make it seem like it haunts them. These mutha fukkas ain't sh1t. If I couldn't do my job, or it took me years to do my job, I would probably be fired, but police not only get a pass, but have to do something super illegal to get fired, and most of the time they don't even get fired, they get an early retirement.

What they say is true tho, if you think you're going to outsmart a police during an interrogation, you're WRONG.

The key is to literally not say a damn thing but request a lawyer. Cops might play it cool but deep down if they can't get you to say shyt and you requesting a lawyer on top of that, deep down they furious ass hell

This is another reason why if you're a criminal, or if you do a big crime(like murder) you should do it by yourself. Cuz even if YOU don't say shyt, your homeboy will

Regarding the interrogation room, that is the only place that the detective shines, but most of the time it is on some forced bullsh1t that civilians just can't comprehend that if they didn't do it, why are you treating me like this? Because the detective is more concerned about clearing his book than getting justice. The one thing that has me fukking furious, every time, is that every detective thinks he/she is a pop phsycologist, and knows depending how you act upon hearing your loved one died, whether you have something to do with it or not, FOH. The best thing you can do, no matter what, is lawyer up, but if you do that, they automatically put you at the top of the suspect list, because they don't want to do thier fukking job and investigate.
