Most people describe GBE's music as drill or post-trap.
This Chief Keef situation is really exposing a lot (not all, but a lot) of the old heads. they constantly complained about how "soft" the new generation is yet now that Keef is proving to really be about that life they're switching up to "this new generation is way too ignorant"
ya'll wanted a return to rappers being "hard" well these are the consequences...

Freddie Gibbs and Chief Keef aren't the same type of rapper though, although their content is considered to be "gangsta" (or is Keef 'trap'?)
One is a much more superior MC and overall artist with actual subject matter and provides social commentary of inner cities while the other perpetuates and glorifies everything that is wrong with the hood.

yea but keef fukkin blows. g shyt where dudes are actually spittin
when rappers had street cred the quality of the game was better

instead of just enjoy the new music.
