I have a lot going on in my life right now and when I get anxious, I can't sleep.

I end up tossing and turning until its an hour before I gotta get ready for work :francis:

The pressure is really getting to me and I need some relief :mjcry:

I need help :mjcry:

If you need to know: I live in an apartment, so I have to wear headphones to drown out noise.

Recommend books, tapes, Apps, whatever.

Sit or stand with hands flat against your thighs palm side up. Look straight ahead with eyes opened or closed. Inhale deeply expanding your diaphragm, hold air there for 3 seconds. Now exhale, repeat this process.

The longer you can comfortably retain air the more brain frequency’s you’ll experience.

Allow your mind to focus on breathing if you find it difficult for your thoughts to simply wash away. The more you mediate the less you with be concerned on breathing because you will breathe like the above more naturally. Then your mind will be at ease enough to open.

IMO the purpose of meditating is to return to the peace of the source of all.

I'll try, figured I needed silence, my neighbors next door got some loud kids.

Think I tried it before but it was one of those "pay me to relax" apps. I'll keep looking.
