Melo was supposed to be Bron's foil ala Bird and Magic and is constantly recognized as the best scorer in the game and a superstar worthy of the max but yet it's crazy to expect him to achieve more in 11 years than Durant has in 7? As far as Dwight goes he has all but disappeared this season. You don't hear shyt about him in the media hardly. I brought him up in the "most pressure in the postseason thread" and got scoffed at....he got like 2 votes and I was one of them :heh:.

The way you cape for Lj is gay, real talk. I ain't even tryna clown. You've actually resorted to making things up. 'Melo was never considered a threat to Lj's title hopes because he was in a different conference for most of his career and when he got to NY, Lj was on stacked team. You're clearly hurt because 'Melo is a great shooter and your precious Lj is pathetic. 'Melo didn't get bodied by Jason Terry on both sides of the floor in a Finals game (or any game :comeon:). 'Melo has never been bodied by fat, old Diaw in a Finals game. Last season, Pop didn't even bother to put Kawhi on him. He resolved to have him doubled on every catch. 'Melo wasn't putrid in 3 of 4 Finals, 3 of which were on stacked teams. And the only reason Lj showed up in 2012 is because the refs wouldn't let KD guard him. KD averaged 4 fouls per game in that series while Lj averaged only 2. They did this because he was so awful in the Finals before that, and because the NBA has put millions of marketing dollars into convincing everyone that he's “the best player in the world”. All this goes back to Lj's reliance on his athleticism. When you have very little skill, you get embarrassed in the Post-Season.

This is beyond pathetic and clear cut proof that he is not a 1st option, especially not on a championship team. That's why when he 1st came to Miami, Wade closed for him almost every night and when Wade's knees got in the way, Ray took over that role. The fact that 'Melo has never missed the Playoffs in his entire career, nor has ever even had a losing record until now tells you all you need to know about why he missed the Playoffs this season by 1 game. But don't worry, the media is just as desperate as you to come for 'Melo. ESPN was so desperate to find a reason to minimize him that they resorted to constantly showing that block by Roy through the entire segment because of how well he shot with 1 arm. :bryan:It was so pathetic. :laff:

He really tried to put his team on his back, just like he tried to in that Bobcats game this season to keep them from missing the Playoffs. Lj couldn't take it, so he copied him:

He wanted to be like him. No, he needed to be like him. :bryan:Just like when Rondo went off for 43 to try to help his team win game 1 the season before last. Lj couldn't take it, so he copied him in game 6 (I think it was that game). And this is who you cape for?! :birdman: This is your king? :laff:

This brings me back to KD. :birdman: 'Melo didn't shoot poorly in an elimination game while healthy against a guy way shorter that he is, like KD did last season. Lj also shot poorly in an elimination game. He did it in game 6 last season until the last seconds of the game when Pop started giving him wide open shots to get him into a rhythm and giving him more wide open shots in game 7, so much so, that Breen was noticeably confused and said “oh, they're just going to give him that shot”, when they weren't giving him anything all series long, prior to that. VanGundy kept referring to the shots as “practice shots”. I'm sure you remember that he was trash that entire series with the exception of games 4 and 7. Again, the latter of which was due to finally being given wide open shots, so that he'd look like the hero. :bryan:

'Melo didn't miss playoffs with a player like Russell. Durant also missed the Playoffs without him. 'Melo didn't have a guy like Russell and 40% 3pt shooters for most of career. It's a major failure for him to be this bad, on this team, at this time while healthy. Age ain't got nothin' to do with it because if it did, 'Melo would've missed the Playoffs in his rookie year but he didn't and he was in the West. Lj missed the Playoffs 2 years in a row.

When 'Melo had an old Billups and old Iverson for 5 Playoffs total (not each), what did they do in those Playoff games? They pulled a disappearing act. I bet it would've been nice to fall back on 40% 3pt shooters when Billups and Iverson were too old to perform in those Playoff games but they decided to go with players who shoot worse than Lj instead.

'Melo has a better Playoff record than CP3. CP3 has never seen a CF and missed the Playoffs 3 times.

D12 has averaged 27pts on 53% shooting 19rpg (7 off rbs) 2apg, 1 spg, 4 bpg, and 5 tpg but he's still averaging more 2nd chance pts (off rbs) than turnovers this Post-Season. He's playing well. KD is not.

What do you want people to do, blame Dwight that they're about to lose in the 1st round because Harden is a chucker for no reason at all? I could see if the team needed him to chuck because they have no talent but that's not the case. If the person taking all the shots was playing well (not even great) instead of chucking for no reason at all, they'd be up 3-1, if not a sweep because of D12 and I can't stand the guy. Harden is chucking for no reason, just like KD.

Durant has gotten criticism too. It's not like no on has ever said a negative word about him, especially on here. It seems like nikkas want him to get that constant, overbearing "Lebron in 2009-2011" heat and neither Melo or Dwight have come close to that shyt despite some rather dubious recent history. Not to mention both of those guys tried to commit the worst sin imaginable in trying to "team up" :lupe: while KD has stuck it out on the team that drafted him. :smugfavre: :troll:
No, they tried hard to blame 'Melo but couldn't, so they just resolved to keep replaying the block that Roy made on him:bryan: and gave KD an age pass for losing in 5 to a team that struggles to score more than Indy, while shooting poorly in an elimination game.

How much heat did Lebron get in 07-08 for shooting 12% (looks forward to overeaction to that hyperbole) through the first 6 games against Boston? Yet 2 years later he actually plays better and gets accused of quitting. nikkas don't like the turns "bullshyt" because they just wanna shyt on Durant consistency be damned.

He did quit. He went to the Finals in Cleveland, came off of a 61-win team the year he quit, the year before that, they won the same amount of games as the big 3 era's franchise high (from a 27-game winning streak) and he still quit on his hometown while publicly humiliating them and refusing to apologize for the cruel humiliation later on.
