When that shyt dropped a nygga was wow this dude made it. I remember when jay was on like 5 or 6 videos all at once. And I'm like yo is foxy body guard rapping now . That's what I thought of him when he came out. Like a oh background verse as nygga. But when jigga what and hard knock life came out I we like oh ok. For me it was 98-01 jay was bodying everything. I think ether chipped his armor though. Had some ill verses here and there but after TBA he lost stream. AG was ok though. Haven't been a fan of Jay since honestly.

The S. Carter Collection is a classic mixtape, also The Black Album can be argued as classic too. Hov was undeniably dope, and just had this swagger and mystique about him he put out some good shyt but some weak shyt as well from 96-03.
