Real Talk: No One Cares About 'The Flash'

Or Blade.

Or Thor.

Or Captain America.

Or Ant Man.

lol growing up nobody on the playground wanted to pretend to be thor, captain america, or ant man. Flash was considered at least ill back then

ehhh.. end of the day the powers that be in that company are too entrenched in their stubbornness for Hal jordan and barry Allen as GL and flash to follow Bruce timm's more successful and popular blueprint of John stewart and wally west circa the jlu cartoon. Stewart and West had distinct personalities and i enjoyed their interactions just as much as bats/supes. from what ive seen of Barry in particular so far, he just seems like ur generic bland good guy boy scout. based off his animated appearances at least. so
if anything I'd prefer a wally west flash movie just like i would've preferred a j Stewart GL flick.

cant say i disagree dont really know if i can watch a dude run fast for an hour and a half even tho his powers turn into sum godly shyt (like every fukkin DC character ) but still i cant c myself paying to watch it plus his villains were ass cheeks

i don't really give a shyt about most of these superheroes that have gotten movies.

but if dudes like ghost rider, daredevil, thor, punisher, green lantern, jonah hex, etc.. can get movies..

then flash can definitely get a movie.

will it be good? who the fukk knows.. but in terms of superhero celebrity, flash is above all those dudes i mentioned.

Flash is overdue for a movie. Though it should be some what funny like iron man 3 if they really want to make it work.

I want them to at least do SOME kind of adaptation with Kyle Rayner as GL. He was my favorite Green Lantern, but he's always left out of adaptations, even ones that are adapted from works he was in.

The only time we really saw him was the few times he showed up in the DCAU, and even then they merged his character and backstory with Hal Jordan's.

smh at DC trying to make him part of the big 3 (supes, batman, flash) and an accessible mainstream star they're trying to warm people up to the flash right now by putting out that animated movie (flashpoint paradox), then giving him his own movie, so by the time the justice league flick comes out they'll do avengers numbers with at least 3 recognizable star characters. it will never happen. the flash doesn't have enough mainstream appeal, he only appeals to comic book geeks.

smh at the flash getting a movie before wonder woman. she would've been perfect to round out the big 3. just being a woman superhero and the love-interest set up they can shoehorn in there (between supes or batman) instantly makes her more interesting than the fukkin flash

How is he not mainstream? He already had a tv show AND a movie.

I didn't give 2 shyts about Iron Man before 2008 & now he's my favorite Superhero so I could see Flash having success or it could end horrendously like Green Lantern...
