I expected Ross's last three albums to be near-classics at worst. I've given up hope, we're gonna get what we get every time, PHENOMENAL snippets that have us like

ross has bangers but bro, how is what you just said a good thing? that's a terrible thing IMO, to just make the same ol same ol every time. no creativity, no new concepts, no new production style, just nothing, everything always the same.. to me that showcases a lack of talent. being safe is corny, from a musical standpoint, experimentation is what usually changes the game.

So we really gonna act like Ross don't release the same 3-4 types of songs over and over 
i'm calling it right now, and i'm willing to put up all of my coli cash to back this claim. mastermind will be the best release of the year, and self-made 3 might be a runner-up. i've listened to everything that's come out - kanye's yeezus, cole's born sinner, wale's the gifted, and now jayz's magna carta holy grail. all of these dudes are lost. they're swerving into lanes that they shouldn't be in. kanye's album was schizophrenic. cole's put me to sleep. wale's is yet another album for ladies masquerading as one for the fellas. and jay-z's shows that he's still obsessed with boasting about how much money he's making.
this year, ross has released several songs that go HARD. he sticks to his formula, never trying to sound different, remaining with a formula that has seen him stand as the most consistently dope artist for a shocking 5 years in a row. he might not go platinum because he doesn't try to pander to the pop crowd, but the nikka's music is undeniable.

ROSS is BORING because all he does is the exact same thing on every song, no matter what song it is. no matter the title or the context. this guy is rapping about THINGS he has, that you dont have. and thats IT.
there is no message involved whatsoever. never has been. never will be. just cause ross has a cool voice a good delivery doesnt change this fact.
its a shame when this era has to give out extra points for being boring aka you call it staying in your lane.
ross is a better rapper then that. he's not an average southern strip club or trap boy rapper. but he actually goes the easiest route. "rap about money to the point you're talking about things you dont even have ross." wash, rinse, repeat.
and just cause he has some nice beats. yall call it a new album. LOL at that one.
I'm tired of Ross. He been recycling the same verse for years now and his production alone is no longer enough to get me to part with my money.
Who wants to listen to an artists' music thats stagnant and follows a formula for every project they produce?
