I agree with this 100%.

Politicians lie and get into office.
Employees lie and get positions/promotions.
Students cheat and get degrees.
Partners cheat on their spouses and ultimately end up happy anything because everything usually turns out alright anyway.

One of my former coworkers lied and said his salary was 60k and the opposing company offered him 80k, but he was really only making 40k. Doubled his salary in one day.

Former coworker cheats on her husband and spends his disability checks on her side nikkas.

Pastor pimps surrounding communies and buy bentleys.

Single mothers lie and say thier bd's are Terri or people and get child support money/alimony because they say they can't live without it.

Nothing bad happened to any of these people, they're living just fine.

And only the good die young. Many of us are going to get old or old enough. Lying is the crux of human success. Second to that is hard work. Don't get me wrong. Not telling folk to lie compulsively. However, nobody has made it by keeping it 1000. Get your money and then have the flavor of the decade cowrite the tell all. Our existence is built on a mystery. Lying is not only the most productive use of our intelligence; it's the most natural.

You one of those that never believed in Santa, or the tooth fairy? That is what sounds sad. Beyond that, people ARE the world. And beyond that, who needs purpose other than the insecure or blissful? Those that advance to power know this world is a game. Your free will is a joke in the 21st century. You buy what we tell you to buy because someone paid us to tell you that it's necessary.

I'm not saying life is supposed to be this way. I'm just saying that I'm not blind to it. Again, I don't lie or cheat maliciously. Other people do and I must recognize their impact and strategy.
