I have to "play". I live here. I just use a different strategy than you suggest.

I stopped belivin' in Santa & the tooth fairy at a very young age. And I wouldn't teach my children to believe in those things. Not sure how that relates though.

Need purpose? No one. But purpose creates direction. I'm here to experience. I want to travel the world. I want nice homes. I want to be an entrepreneur. I want to learn another language. I want a family. I want my family to have purpose. And so on. I act accordingly.

What is there to do if you have no purpose? Why lie, cheat & steal? What's the goal? Why put others through that if you have no purpose?

My free will is not a joke. Sure, there are laws everywhere. So there are some things I can't do and some things I have to do. But there's a lot to do outside of all that. I'm goin't to experience and enjoy life. I'm goin' to accomplish.

I spend money on very little right now outside of what will help me experience & accomplish. No one tells me what to buy.

Again, life is many ways. I don't know how it's SUPPOSED to be. I know how I want mine to go though. I'm doin' everything in my power to get there.

I do my best to recognize deceipt. That doesn't mean I have to participate though.

IMO, we are made to do whatever we want to do. There's very little we HAVE to do. One could choose not to fukk or kill things, for example.

We have no unified purpose. I say lie on a personal level when you have to, not for lying's sake. And this is life...everyone is part and parcel.

I'm talkin' personal purpose. I'm not claimin' to know the meanin' of life.

I've lied when I felt it was necessary. But I don't base my life around it like your OP seems to suggest. I don't believe it's the secret to life.
