:mjpls: another reminder that the term "classic" is subjective.

Is it a "universal" classic? :heh: Let's not pretend that it caused mansoons and landslides when it dropped.

good kid, m.A.A.d and Life Is Good, however :shaq: :takedat:

if he had cut off 2 of the 3 r&b singer tracks (presumably not pot of gold since it was a single) it would be a solid 4.25/5.

martians vs goblins, red nation, good girls gone bad, ricky, heavy artillery, good bad ugly, speakers on blast, born in the trap were all fire. and he still had smooth tracks like mommas knows, california dream

Classic was a strong word, but this album is pretty good. I had my iPod on shuffle today, 'Ricky' came on, I decided to shuffle the whole thing and now I can't remember why I thought it was meh when it first came out. This shyt is great

Aw yeah it was a good album. Dont get me wrong. Next to Section.80, Watch the Throne, and Take Care, RED used to get heavy revolutions. But as time went on, the replay value vanished and I found myself only listening to The City and Martians vs. Goblins. :yeshrug: So the album had to go, effectively killing its potential of being a classic.

The Red Album is better than every album you just mentioned. I'm sure nikkaz know why I'm saying 'Take Care'

- In retrospect, WTT wasn't really great. Everyone was excited to hear a Kanye/Jay album and it had some nice tracks, but I still think the Red album is better

- And I know you Kendrick Lamar fans are gonna be mad, but I really don't get the big deal about him

The Game does come off as a lame sometimes but this album is :whoo:

Yeah, I thought this album was dope. "Ricky" is insane. So was "Good Bad and Ugly". I wouldn't call it a borderline classic, but it's very good. I just wish there was a Nas feature. They make great songs together.

he should have put nas on born in the trap that would have been :wow:

:whoa: I never said that album stayed in rotation long lol. I simply had been listening to that at the same time RED came out.

But the RED Album was not a better album than Take Care or Section.80. :smugbiden: I'd have more respect for you saying that if you were saying it as just your opinion, but then the argument will just be subjective. If you mean that it was better in a general sense, that's when problem arise. You gonna tell me the RED Album resonated more than K.Dot and Drake's album?? A quick look at the reviews and end of the year lists can quickly end this debate.

I'll be fair on Kendrick Lamar, I don't like him to begin with

But how the fukk was the Red Album not better than that simp ass Drake album? How many of those songs are even Grown man music?
