Realistically if Sega came out with a new console that has none of the issues the others have and had the games/graphics to match, would it sell?

Don't know how it would sell, depends on the lineup but I'd probably cop Day 1 just because I've been a Sega fanboy since the 90s.

Getting Genesis (with Sonic 2 included) for Christmas one year as a kid :wow:

I think it's too late. They would be stuck in 4th place by default. I think they are doing fine as a developer and publisher.

I Fox with Sega Hard body we had the Genesis and the Dreamcast , great systems but they made too many mistakes in the console market ,too many attachments for the Genesys, Saturn debacle, and Weak security on The Dreamcast to ever comeback. Dreamcast was very Innovative and way ahead of it's time with online gaming I still say soul Calibur is the best looking game of that generation. But their rep is finished and the current consoles are way to established in their own markets. They don't have the money to compete with last place Microsoft.
