People of all races fundamentally have a cultural disconnect since each individual race is socialized in a different environment, averagely speaking. Now if you're willing work through that cultural disconnect, more power to you. I personally would feel weird and out of place meeting the folks of a non-Black chick. There's that initial he's not one of "us" kind of thing. No one can deny that.
