You can't look at numbers in a vacuum, especially when it comes to football. It's downright retarded. I can live with people who just believe Brady is superior. That's fine. But I hate when people trot out numbers with no context at all.

If we're going to look at numbers without context then cool. i'll bow out of this argument.

This is true to an extent but manning supporters have based their entire argument on stats for over ten years. Now that we have shown in numerous threads that on a game to game and season to season basis brady has as good if not better numbers they start to cop pleas. This is despite that Brady has played most of his career with worse weapons and outside in the cold with manning playing half his games in a dome. Now it's not about numbers, it's about the "eye test" and its "the system"

Thats not true at all. Peyton has better stats across the board. it's only when Brady stans start cherry picking numbers and taking things out of context that they even start to appear closer. Peyton dominates Brady in stats from all angles

Bruh.... Brady stans have created this myth that he is this clutch super nova who won SBs on his own and Peyton is a choker. That is simply untrue.

Here's another

Of Tom Brady's 22 interceptions, 16 were in opponents territory, 9 were within field goal territory, 7 were with the game within "one score", and he's led a game winning drive in 4 of these games.

Of Manning's 21 career postseason interceptions, 18 have been in opponents territory, 15 have been when the game was within one score, 14 have been within field goal range, 3 have been "pick sixes", and he's led a game winning 4th quarter drive in only one of these games

I`m gonna talk to the head of the Reality Files, that's some potent Reality right there

But why judge a QB for what he does in pressure moments, he absolutely kills it in September, flawless

I see motherfukkers avoiding that TD% stat like the pleague.

Also dudes avoiding the fact that his performance clearly dips once January comes. Explain what makes him less of a player when the playoffs come

You seem to have missed than Mark Sanchez and Jeff Garcia also have more comebacks than the supposed GOAT.

Sanchez with all of 6 playoff games under his belt, has more than Manning who has 20 under his.

3x less the games, double the comebacks

Do you think that means that Mark Sanchez is the superior QB?

It means that it's not a useful statistic, dummy. Did you go to college?

It's always comical to see how folk will cherry pick to discredit Peyton. As if comebacks mean anything. Shame on Peyton for putting teams away early in games. :lolbron:

Add another casenote to this file

Finally playing a good defense and 3 turnovers with a pick 6

No surprise though had them losing 34-19 in the prediction thread, guess I gave The Regular Season God too much credit
