It gives you incentive to overcompensate.
The anger from being ignored will burn while you do reps at the gym and run that extra 1/2 mile.
When you out-study all your peers and get the best grades, and best internships.
When you out-work and out-dress all your coworkers.
When you fly by them in the best car you can afford, on the way to the best house you can afford.

But folks need to understand you have to love and appreciate yourself before you can date anyone. I dont see how people think they can love and care for another person if they dont feel that way about themselves. Insecurities will always arise throughout the relationship.
