I was listening to BBC world service in the car a few nights ago and heard about this.

Ade was one of my favorite players bitd when I first started to play soccer. Its unfortunate his family treats him like this, and I'm glad he's airing them out. That's a lot to have on your chest while having the public eye on you and being asked to score goals

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
I've had a couple Uncle's asking me for money since I was a kid. Most of my immediate family (mom, dad, brother, grandparents) are alright but after that I have some snakes in my family. I'd try to break off everyone I trust in my family a lump sum if I came into A LOT of money, pay off your mortgage, your car something like that, after that y'all on your own.

Oh, one of these athletes that ends up being alienated from their families only to give half or all of their wealth to their white spouses and their white financial mangers?

We've seen this story before.

the internet
shyt like this is so common with family.
When you come up...you have to have people around you that are either better off than you, or on the same level.

Because a lot of folks can't take the fact that someone just like them is now doing things they dreamt of...it forces them to acknowledge their wasted potential.

"When I was in Metz, I was earning about €15,000 a month. I wanted to get something unique for my mom to thank her for all she did for me. I wanted to make her happy. So I decided to take an amount worth 3 months of my wages and I bought her a Cartier neckless for about €45,000. Rotimi and his friends Akim(@Yam Freedom) and Tao (@Sao Tao Oyawole) made a plan and stole that precious neckless. They sold it for about €800. When my mom and I found out, my mother asked me not to bother because he is the younger brother."

:what:

He saved up 3 months worth of salary to buy his mom a necklace:huh:? .I get that whole blood is thicker than water thing but it comes to a point where you gotta be like iight...fukk it! They kept doing him dirty and playing the victim. The sense of entitlement that his family has is :mindblown: I would have given them all 10k and told them to kick rocks :manny:

I can't stand these propaganda pieces designed to get us to hate our families and trust random white men with our money once we get it.

FOH if you can't recognize the bullsh!t when you see it, breh.
what did you even read the story? all is he's doing is clearing a few points it's his family that has gone against him in the media. all he is doing is setting the record straight

But where does this piece say anything about a white man?:dwillhuh:
So is he still supposed to trust his family after they've been doing him dirty?
His family shytted on him 1st in the media and tried to get him fired
You can love them from a distance. That's the route I would choose:manny:

Good thing my immediate family aint like that.

I play powerball and megamillions from time to time and i miraculously win it one day, I wont have to worry about them.

It's sad when money can make you want to avoid your ppl because they always on some "gimmie" shyt.
