Number #1 songs are pretty much sing along a and have no impact musically, that's how charts work.. Think about this. Beyoncés 7/11 was a #1 song. That's her most simplistic song ever recorded

Stop letting the message confuse you. A dope song will beat a song with a message 100% of the time.

Its when you make a dope song that ALSO has a message that you create great music. But you can't put the "entertainment" factor second.
