I thought it’d be fun to post some of our recent fashion buys so we can see each other’s style and/or discover new stores.

I got a midi skirt for work and a satin bralette from Pinup Girl Clothing, I wanted the matching shorts for the bralette so I could wear the set as pajamas but they’re sold out

Recently bought this outfit for an event i went lol. Wanted to try wearing things I wouldn't normally. So I got this basic red unitard from pretty little thing.

And this cropped jacket from Bershka.

Altogether, the look was very "instagram-inspired" .

So I just discovered a new brand called La Femme en Noir, it’s designed by Micheline Pitt who also owns the clothing line Vixen. The style of clothing is a mix of 1950’s vamp with lots of dark colors, lace, etc which fits my style to a T. I literally want to buy everything from the line.

As far as confidence to wear vixen/1950s style, just start with one piece at a time. A pencil skirt is 50s style but it’s also timeless and you can easily incorporate it into your current style.

I didn't realise pencil skirts were 50s style I could definitely incorporate those into my wardrobe! Also thanks for the advice.

I'm either a 20s flapper or a 50s pin up. I LOVE vintage clothes. I also have a dramatic style. will post some pics in a bit

My style is more classic chic... I'm mainly a dress and heels type of girl or dressy flats. All of my heels are ankle strap, t-strap. For work, it's business casual- I also wear pencil skirts or fit and flare, paired up with a blouse I'm not really into any specific type of designers, it really depends on the style that I feel like at the time or the type of mood. My go to colors are black and white..majority of my clothes are black, beige and white items about 80% of my closet.. lol. from time to time I'll wear something with a splash of red. For online Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, for work clothes- Calvin Klein, Anne Klein, Kenneth Cole - shoes - I like the cut of their dresses, rarely need alterations. I shop at 6pm. com - variety of items on there from different designers. I like independent designers too- boutiques. I'm also into goth inspired vintage looks.

For casual weekend... sundresses, dressy flats..
