When having sex / dating declines all the future potential divorcees and dirtbags that don't take care of their kids won't even be participants and all these unwanted children or children from broken homes won't be. The only people who will have children will actually want them. Only the people who deeply want to be in relationships will be in them. Just getting sex will be a non-factor in most of these decisions.

Humans desire a lot of things they end up abstaining from in some way or another because they deem it in their best interest to do so. What type of diet do you think the majority of people would maintain if they could eat whatever they want with no negative impact on health? Mostly fruits, vegetables, and whole grains or a bunch of fats and sugar?
Most things in life are until they aren’t. I doubt a large number of that group would say they want to be single for the rest of their lives.

Right now for communication they have the internet, for sexual pleasure they have masturbation and for entertainment they video games, youtube, streaming services, etc.
They don't see it as worthwhile to communicate in person. They become awkward because they're more comfortable doing it at home. It's easier at home.
People operate on wanting a ROI as well, if the return isn't high what's the use? If young men are being used and not getting a good ROI, why would they continue to invest? If young women have their own thing going on and aren't getting a good ROI (when it comes to real world male attention) why would they invest? It's easier to just go online, voice chat, watch youtube, and be at the house.
