You're definitely right about Reddit's handlining and damn near every social media platform pretty much does the same, thus why you see if one spreads too much awareness, they start getting attacked.
One thing I hate about reddit is that people try too hard to be positive. Everyone patting each other on the back, they will pat each other on the back off a cliff.

You will see people who live on there and when you click their profile, they usually all claim to be autistic, depressed, live at home. Like 75% of reddit muthafukkas all claim to be on the spectrum at this point.

Then you got black people who think they represent black people. When you dig further in their profiles, they always have nose rings and fukked up hairline. Typical of the black people who only grew up around whites. I'm sure they have that vocal fry shyt and talk like a white girl from california

Reddit stinks. It's like a damn cess pool of miserable people with crazy politics and gay relationships. You will get some of the worst advice you ever heard. But you can get great instructions. I hooked my niece up with unlimited internet at her apartment for $20 bucks a month from instructions in r/rural_internet. I like stuff where people show of their home theater and network set up. r/home_theater, r/homelabs, and r/battlestations (not much conversation in there though. I like checking out everybody's .

r/nocontract can show you how to get a burner phone line dirt cheap.

I used to like the stories from r/talesfromtechsupport but they've gotten kind of boring though.

Stay away from r/blackpeopletwitter and r/politics

I guess reddit is ok if you stick to specific hobbyist type groups.
how did you do the internet thing?

You're going too far down the rabbit hole.

I just check a few niches I'm interested in and avoid politics. I get the info I'm looking for and I'm gone. Every subreddit I go to is pretty chill.

No weirdos on r/trees.

Stay off of Reddit. Most subreddits are echo chambers and you aren't going to see good representation of people. They ban anyone who goes against the popular thought so you're going to only see one side of the argument. Also, it's a very left leaning platform.

Not is not an very left leaning platform. :mjlol: It was on that :mjpls: for an long time until they were trying to gain mainstream notoriety is when they try to clean their image, but a lot of the users who are on that :mjpls: are still there, even when they left to go to voat, but that later shut down and came right back.
