Recommend me a screen locker

I carry my phone in my pocket and its a problem whenever I get a call or message

because when I get a call or message, my phone ofcourse activates and the screen turns on

and when that happens while my phone is in my pocket,

all the moving around that I do while my phone is in my pocket causes me to mess up my phone

by acccidentally opening up all types of apps and what not

so whenever I take my phone out of my pocket to check to see who called,

I'll see that I have accidentally disoriented my phone

so please recommend me a screen locker cause I tried one myself but it wasn't good

I work a physical job, and if I do that then I'd be risking cracking the screen (and I gotta keep my phone on me)

I just downloaded a screen locker from over there but I still have the same problem

recently, when I pulled my phone out of my pocket,

I fukked around and accidentally created three new home pages lol

Have you tried fukking around with the screen/call settings?

The way I have it now, the screen only gets activated for calls. Everything else (text, notifications, etc) are silent, but the notification light turns another color letting me know I gotta text, etc.

so how do you deactivate the screen for everything? (calls, notifications, etc)

@D.C Young try this for turning off the screen during calls: Settings > Device > Call Settings > Turn off screen during calls

For other things such as messages, I don't use the default app, I use Go SMS Pro, and it has built in settings for screen control.
