You really can't go wrong with any of the Barefoot wines -
Moscato | White & Red Wines | Chardonnay | Cabernet Sauvignon | Wines & Champagnes
Then there are the staples for chardonnays and wine zinfandels: Mondavi, Beringer, Woodbridge and Sutter Home.
I personally like Chateau St. Jean red wines, but depending on which one you buy, it can get pricey. Anywhere from $12 to over $80 from what I've seen.
Honestly, wine is one of those things were probably everyone is full of shyt when talking about it.
A good liquor store will have people there who can recommend things from time to time and that's generally how I find out about new wines.
Right now I've got a bottle of Diseño 2012 malbec from the Argentina section of my liquor store. Eleven bucks. Haven't tried it yet though.
