RDO is not a flop, it's a neglected community that Rockstar quickly abandoned after they realized that they couldn't double up on selling virtual currency on it like they do in the GTA Online. RDO had a very passionate, up and coming community that slowly, but painfully tapered off after said neglect rolled into housing a pretty unplayable game with the limited to missing animal spawns, the glitched camp system coupled with the lack of activities that harkened back to how dead GTO was back when they promised heists and ain't had shyt other than party games and that hoard mode for you to shoot it out with.

The collector role and the daily challenges streak that gave you a higher gold earning percentage ensured that any dilligent player of this online experience could generate enough money to not EVER have to buy Gold bars to pay for ANYTHING within the game, unlike the experience you are faced with in a GTO setting where new players are basically forced to consider doling out actual cash for Shark cards to even begin to experience a 1/10th of the overinflated bullshyt that is offered within it's universe.

It's apparent now that Rockstar NEVER wanted to create the RDO Universe me and alot of folks who bought this title day 1 and was salivating for with an Online Cowboy experience. To this day you've no train robberies, bank robberies, Cattle/Horse rustling, user gang clans, frontier property experiences, pan handling, heck, CATHOUSE OWNERSHIP of ANY, fukkING, SORT in such an expansive and capable game that would accept and utilize all these facets of a romanticized Western Outlaw experience that would have made this game just as good if not BETTER than the current wacky offering than what could be found in an RDO experience.

That's why they focus so hard on GTO online, breh. Digital currency. I guarantee you, if no one was buying them shark cards to the clip that they do now, GTA 5 would not be a thing past a casual gaming experience a select few tap into. That's why they went so ham on nerfing what you could earn through the collector role and they've finally fukked up the Daily challengers streak earning system where your streak resets after 28 days, thus limiting your earning power.....all to make you consider buying gold bars.

Motherfukk Rockstar/Taketwo and everyone who had a hand in that shyt. RDO should have been treated with way more respect than it got by them tone dead b*stards who basically ignored it and still do to this day. I mean, who the fukk wants to play as a leaf picking pacifist in a game where you shoot, hunt and LIVE as a fukking homicidal criminal?​

 

You can use Lennys Trainer to have all pelts be perfect pelts and then spawn every type of animal you need for the satchels. I did it right outside of camp and it took about 5 min to kill all the animals, skin them, take them to camp, and get the satchels.

Be warned though that when you spawn the panther, cougar, and wolf, they instantly attack you...so take a health potion so you can survive... my wife used it in the beginning of chapter 2 and didn't...when she spawned the cougar it would just instantly leap on her neck and kill arthur

It just dawned on me you can just use the trainer to turn on infinite health and not worry about dying

If you go back and get the trainer 2 versions earlier from this one it seems to be ok...I think it's version 1.07 or something. I did that and haven't had any problems since yesterday.

 

There was some dude on youtube who has a video where he found just about all the hidden files for the game and he said it seems like rockstar changed pretty much everything after you get back from Guarma. Found some files where dutch and arthur talk about how they are going to get the blackwater money back from the del lobo's so i guess they took it. Found some files where arther has to choose between being in a relationship with mary or sadie. Found some stuff about where you have to go kill micah cause he ratted the gang out. Found some stuff about a loch ness monster you could hunt and a bunch more alien encounters than the two in the game.

 

I might fukk around and spawn Dutch so he can be the decoy when killing the panther, cougar, and wolf.

 

Not necessarily. I once got stuck in an endless loop where I couldn't die but couldn't attack, either.

First time I used god mode in Lennys trainer I hunted the legendary bear and it did the mauling on the ground animation but my health couldn't go down so it just kept doing the animation and arthur kept screaming...waited 2 minutes for him to pull the knife out and kill it but he never did...so i just cut the game off

 

So I, a Level 20 bounty hunter, can now become a level 30 hunter...for 15 bars. For a bounty hunter license. Which I already bought for 15 bars ages ago.

Oh...you thought those extra levels came WITH that 40-bar outlaw pass??? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Silly breh! This is Rockstar, folks!

Monumental game, top 10 game of all time, more of art than a standard video game. With that being said the ending of chapter 6 left a bad taste in my mouth pause. You spend so many hours with Arthur your invested in the story and just like that he dies and you move on right away to Marston and his story. It makes sense to do in order to tie in both games but It took away from the experience to me. I stopped playing for a month because I lost interest. Worst part is Arthur is only mentioned once in the epilouge when John is talking to Charles.

I'm checking out the online but i doesn't seem like something I'll get into so I will hang this up and continue going through my backlog. I will definitely revisit and finish hunting and exploring.

 

Rockstar should have released RDR1 as DLC for RDR2. Or bundle the games together.

But they are too focused on RDR online. They don't care about single player.

 

So I am watching my wife play this game...she got the trinket that lets you kill animals with comparable weapons (so if it says use a repeater you can use a rifle and it won't ruin the pelt) and gives you an extra star to the pelt of it's perfect (so killing a 2 star animal perfectly gives a 3 star pelt)...so she just pulls out the lasso on everything but the smallest animals, then walks up to it and stabs it while it is tied up and it is a perfect pelt EVERY...fukkING...TIME

Don't know how I didn't know this or how I never thought to do this...watched her go from no satchels to legends of the east satchel in about 45 minutes...only animals she couldn't rope was squirrels and rabbits cause they to small...

She even roped a beaver and stabbed it

She roped the panther in lemoyne to but had to drop potent predator bait and wait for it to come around
