Me being a Good Samaritan I see this dude struggling with this brolic ass horse and ask if he needs help. He’s like sure and turns around, as soon as I hop off my horse the brolic ass horse kicks this dude a good 5 ft and kills him. I go to check on him and a busy body rolls up and does then makes a mad dash to town to get the law on me. Next then I know I’m running around the swamp trying to outrun the law when a fukking alligator pops out kills me.

Ok this game is wild.

Some bandits tried to ambush me and I just killed them all. Game told me if I didn't hide the bodies I'd get the Feds on my ass.

So I'm picking up the bodies and throwing them in some shrubbery then some passerby on a horse gets the drop on me like:

Witness: Did you do all this?

Me: *Defuse Option* Naw, I just came and found them like that

Witness: *Races off* *MURDER WITNESS*

Me: *give chase*

Clapped him off his horse. Looted and threw his body in a near by pond

It's 1914 when RDR ends. Jack Marston is only 19 then. @The G.O.D II is right Jack wouldn't be too old when that mafia shyt kicks in. A game could have him in his late 30s seeing all that fukkery.

Is it better than the master of sandbox: GTA IV (not counting the shyt driving + long driving to redo missions)?

I read it’s amazing if you like wandering around, doing side stuff but that the core combat is/gets boring (aka Red Dead Redemption 1, I never finished it because I got bored with the shooting mechanic).

Thinking of copping this tho brehs..

Would give Rockstar the benefit of the doubt.

Man i was just on my way back to the camp and i see 2 dudes posted up and one of them said something slick to me. this is like one of my first random NPC encounters, i approached them and when i got close i threaten them and pulled the tool out. I got too close. as soon as i tried to shoot, one of them knock the gun out my hand and the other put the whole clip in me .

i was in another situation where i was collecting debts from the german dude in the camp. I ran up on the debtors house and he went off galloping in his horse so i caught up to him and roped him up. he then starts confessing about a treasure map and where he got some valuables so i went, but i brang him along with me on my horse in case nothing was there. So i get there and i find the treasure and the debt is paid. So i said fukk it ill take him back to his house but as im riding in my horse i went down a funny terrain and me, the horse and homeboy went rolling down a hill. I heard the crack of his skull when his head hit a rock and he fukking died. Now i just hope he wasnt important in some future mission lol

Im 8 hours in, probably the most immersive game you will ever play. some will love it some will hate it but this game and its overwhelming detail to shyt is the stuff i use to dream about as a kid about what a next generation game will be. i fukking love it im balls deep this is all im doing this weekend until its back to reality and work on monday

These NPCs are fun to interact with. I've had some antagonize me or attempt to defuse instances of me antagonizing them. Others won't really entertain any foolishness and will walk away from it. Some just want the smoke and pull out the burners if you look at them wrong. Even more will tell on you.

It goes a long to making them feel alive. My favorite thus far was the NPC who drove by as I was hog tying a couple of would be thiefs. Dude rode by on his horse, stopped,
did a smooth double take, and then pulled off unprovoked on some "Nope."

Like. Even gta 5 is barely a vice city level with good graphics.

This is such a munumental leap from rd1. Straight comedy.

Just picked up the bytch on bounty for matricide. She had a cop simp with her. I shot him and she pull a knife. I knocked the bytch out one punch and put her on my horse and busted her in the face a few times.

There's an online game you can do this on, I forgot the name though. You can either leave the server or be a prisoner until they let you free, someone kills you or someone saves you
