If you care enough about the story, then yes. Obviously you aren't going to get the same accoutrements of the latest, so if you's a breh who used "Dated" or "Aged" in terms of games, then you might have more trouble with it than you should, although that should not be the case. But in terms of storyline, characters and just an overall good story, It's more than fukking worth it. Especially if you're fresh off 2 and the lore is still fresh.
If you cop/like, try and get Undead Nightmare with it too. Nice little DLC back when Rockstar didn't have GTA online pumping money directly into the CEOs Prostates.
