As much as the 30fps performance is kind of a slog to deal with, I have actually grown to enjoy the experience. It has a weird Criterion vibe to it. Something about riding to the sunset with the methodical pacing just hits

I can only play this game on PC due the game being at 60fps and the ambient world mods and the overhauls to the wanted and bounty system

You can play with no HUD on the base game. Directions are more descriptive on missions. You just have to use the street signs in the open world and you’ll learn your landmarks. You can obviously still just use the map too

It makes me wonder if the Valentine bar mission with Lenny was supposed to introduce this system.
