I played this game only a bit. I never tried the storyline I hopped right online to play with fam. Thinking about getting back into it..

Would you guys recommend me comeback and try the storyline instead of hopping online immediately?​

Play the storyline, don't even flirt with the online unless you got a squad 'cause it's literally a dead world. The story mission/path ain't got much to it and the activities dry up real quick, leaving the OCD, mindless faithful like me acquiring money/gold that we've nothing to spend on. Playing with friends CAN be fun as fukk and if you get a hang on battling folks you can get some enjoyment from gunfighting randoms, but that's it.
Actually, the only thing I'd tell you to use the online for is to learn how to properly hunt and keep pelts pristine.
You can also become proficient in taking down two large animals in a pack using the headshot/lasso combo and by that, I mean sneaking up behind a heard, identifying the best animals to take out, kill one and then jump on your horse and lasso the other, do the knife kill and got two animals to take back instead of one.

But yeah, story is gorgeous. Enjoy that shyt above all else.​

Man this may be the greatest game of all time. I’m in the middle of chapter 2 & I think I’m gonna take a break from missions to look for dinosaur bones & do some hunting up in the mountains. The amount of stuff you can do in this game is insane.
