From things I've read about it, the code for the game is a mess and wouldtake too many man hours to fix as the game changed hands between like 3 different studiosor something like that and the success of the game kinda caught Rockstar by surprise.

Not really because BC on xb1 works as a virtual machine where it basically runs the 360 os. That's the best way i can describe it. They can run any 360 game on xb1 as far as i gathered, it's just up to the developers to sign off on it. They were having issues with multidisc games but i think that's been solved.

i tried to order it last night it was was £14.99 new or £9.99 preowned, but the store kept declining my order. I tried it again 2 hours later and it was £19.99 preowned and £25 new.

No upscaling but all backward compatible games have forced v-sync so no screen tearing compared to if it was on 360.is it gonna be upscaled?
