You have a water shortage? In the ocean? :mjtf:

The amount of energy it would take to fly cargo planes over all those areas is about impossible. Plus they would have to do it on days that's dry, which is alot of days.
Also salt water would ruin plants and the soil

werent they working on purifying it some how so this would be possible though
There's desalination plants and the navy has a ship that can turn a bunch of salt water into fresh water. But our capacity in California is limited and it's expensive and energy intensive

i was in Cali years ago and stayed in Big Sur.
i saw entire mountain sides blackened by fire, it was surreal.
the amount of water it would take to soak it against fire is unimaginable.
how much water can a plane or chopper really carry?
as for the "dump salt water on it" suggestion...after Rome defeated Carthage
they sewed the land with salt so that nothing would grow there again.
i thought this shyt was common knowledge. and yes, the process of desalination
is energy heavy. i just don't get why they don't just let the sea water evaporate in

containers into another container thus leaving behind the salt...:skip:

it would cost zero energy other than what the sun provides for evaporation.

but what do i know? :hubie:

We could do it if we put our heads to it, but it won't get done because there's not that much money to be made.... Yet lol

I imagine when we hit mad max status making fresh water will be as valuable a skill as any :hubie:
