yea that part had me a little"and dies from being in there"
when I read it, but the story is wild. but to OP's question, to be honest and not come off like a "tough guy", I think that our futures aren't pre-determined but different possibilities are made more possible based on acts/actions we take now. it's messed up that people saw it (owner had a heart attack) but I do feel when your number is up then its nothing anyone can do to stop it.
