The Coli is racist and sexist and not in any logical way. I don't feel any need to say anything about it since I am here to get the black man's perspective. However, it boggles my mind that no matter how stupid or even criminal of an act a black man commits, at least half the posters in a thread will fully support him. No standards.
Ellen Pao closed down sites that were actively attacking people. The fatpeoplehate were actively emailing fat people and leaving nasty comments on their blogs and videos maybe even calling them. Pao said it was ok to have your opinion on Reddit but you can't venture out to attack people not on the site. Unfortunately, that message was completely lost in all of the hysteria.

I'm a new reddit user, it was funny reading some thread on the confederate flag where dumb posters were getting crushed by historians. I haven't seen racism over there yet but maybe it's cause I haven't been there long enough. Even when I see some bullshyt some one quotes them and tries to argue with them. Not as bad as the coli made it out to be.
