Below is the supposed offending message of Jesse Jackson's AMA session

You can tell that that was full of racist vitriol. I'm no fan of jesse jackson, but fukk those crackers over at reddit, fukk riddit, and fukk any of you that use redet, as well as defend it.

It's not a racist site, although online forums like reddit do provide an outlet for racist trolls to run wild.

I don't think members of the coli grasp just how big a site reddit is, and how many subreddits there are.

r/futurology
r/science
r/technology

etc...there are several valuable communities within the site.

And frankly, going to page 3 or 4 of reddit's Front Page is like seeing the future.
There's shyt I see on reddit's 3rd page today that will blow up on FB and Twitter 2 days from now.

That's just how it is.

Unless you're one of those guys that thinks reddit steals from 4-chan, which is entirely possible.

Reddit is a great aggregator of information -- if I ever need to find info, its a good place to go.

The community though? Absolute shyt. We shyt on people here for fishing for daps, all they do over there is fish for upvotes.

Its like a ***** for the masses, a lot of the same humor, a lot of the sentiments being shared too. They just hide it like they do in real life.

Never got into Reddit, they layout is ugly and its hard to navigate. Didn't realize it had so many registered users. That's way more than I would've thought. I'm sure its not down with that many users and if it was somebody would start a new version.

There are subreddits dedicated to all sorts of things.
Just clicked on a random subreddit r/almosthomeless where people discuss and help each other avoid being homeless.
Are you going to argue that reddit is a website dedicated to saving the homeless?

It's one subreddit among thousands.

There are subreddits for racist a$$holes. The whole site isn't racist a$$holes.
