They’re not. Conway is West’s brother on his father’s side and Benny is his cousin on his mom’s side. They did still grow up together along with Chine Gun though… but obviously more so West, Benny and Chine Gun since West always says how close their moms were.

Is Benny really that much bigger than Conway though? Probably a little but it's hardly a huge gap, even when Benny had momentum a few years ago. It's not one of these examples of a rapper outgrowing his crew in popularity. They're both essentially underground rappers with niche but dedicated audiences. Benny got his Def Jam deal but he bombed bad. It ain't like Conway is playing smell venues watching in bitterness as Benny has become a superstar.

Conway has 1.3 million listeners monthly on Spotify. Benny has 2 million flat. That’s a decent difference for two u rebound artists in the same lane imo

Spotify listeners isn’t everything. But it’s a measurement I thought to check.
