You have to be stupid as shyt to not understand how valuable Reddit is. “They should erase the site”…these nikkas, man smh. It’s not about going there to chat with people. It’s about using that shyt as a search engine for the information you’re specifically looking for and having others that have already done what you’re trying to do…

keeping it real, reddit is useful to search for free software. I got a new computer two years ago and found a free office-like software for documents that was suggested on reddit. I got another free photo editing software and music making software.

my nephew found a pretty useful car buying guide on there too.

always stick "reddit" on your google search.

Reddit is as helpful as you make it. Tons of communities around hobbies and topics with actual experts who are helpful. I found carpenters on there, learned how to make face serums and where to order raw ingredients, as someone who needs dairy free ice cream I got a perfected recipe from Reddit. It’s not all racism and trash posting

Between the coli and reddit, I switched careers and became a programmer and I'm now making more money than I've ever made in my life. I used reddit to put money in my pocket.

What I've read on this is Reddit didnt only allow, they encouraged third party apps to help get the word out and have people use their product. This relationship was fine for 10 years until Elon started charging crazy prices for API and now reddit is following suit. Always funny to see you dumb bootlicking fools protect the big corporations when the people running 3rd party apps looking for a little fairness. It really is no wonder humanity is where it is, not only because we're too fukking selfish, but also too fukking stupid to realize we, the regular ol people, continue to get fukked and people throw their shoulders up. Like it's just as easy for you to get the fukk out of the way instead of pretending you know what's going on and saying the talking points of CEOs and millionaires
