$4,000 a year comes out to roughly $11 per day, give or take.
How many of you have checked your own spending habits? Doing Uber Eats, Door Dash, ordering food on weekends, downloading apps for fast food restaurants for "the savings"??

$11 a day won't ring any alarm bells until you step back and add it up.

To be sure, inflation is impacting everyone and wages are stagnant. I'm not saying that other factors aren't at play when it comes to why people are struggling financially. But that doesn't mean that people don't bear some responsibility for careless spending, either.

This redditor's solution is to invest in a coffee machine to get his fix at home. But the broader point of eating out for the convenience is worth thinking about.

I get a beard line up weekly and cut every month… I did the math and that’s like $1500 a year at the barber

Not necessarily the same as $4k on Dunkin’ donuts but I kinda get, sh1t just adds up

This person should definitely evaluate and cut back spending where they can but at the same time, if they aren’t in debt and there’s money coming in.. who am I to say a daily Dunkin’ Donuts run is off limits

i was gettin donuts for the visitors last week. half a dozen cost like $10. im pretty sure a whole dozen was half that price not too long ago

like, a gallon of coffee and 6 donuts was about $40.

but either way thousands of dollars is a lot to spend on one food place.

and coincidentally one of my visitors who left today said they saw charles barkley on the plane :pachaha:

Right. It's going to differ for everyone.
I think it's good to reflect and evaluate from time to time.

I know yall thinking it’s donuts but nah

This person was getting coffee on Uber eats. When you add the service charge and tip I see how it could get to 11 a day
