I'm black and I fukk with his music and know others here in NY who do. He doesn't make hood shyt if that's what you're referring to but artists like that end up with largely white fanbases for some reason
It's a great look since he promotes positivity and does a lot of work in the community.
He's not a plant. The coli has been saying that for a few years now but can anyone produce receipts? He's not signed to any label and he's only released free material so far.

slow down. you act like dude was some kinda household name before appearing on TLOP. dude still ain't a household name, but he's certainly a lot more well known than he was 3 months ago. and both the sox and chance are striking while the iron's hot. if you can't admit to that, you're naive.
He's been well known in the industry for years. Madonna went to one of his shows off his second mixtape. A lot of musicians are just fans of new music and are up on artists that the public at large may not know of.
