Nah. He fell off after Muddy Waters. After that album, he became really corny. Too goofy, beats are trash nowadays for the most part, and every other song is about smoking weed. His pen game is still pretty nice, and he'll make a rare good song once in awhile, but he fell off, and I'm net getting my hopes up for Muddy Waters 2 being any good.

This.

I became a fan after hearing him on EPMD's Business as Usual. I went crazy! I'd buy a whole album just to get the track he was on, no matter who the artist was. That's how big of a fan I was of his in the 90's. Never stopped playing his first three albums. He was at his best then. But when he started getting too comical, the music definitely fell off some. By Red Gone Wild, I couldn't front anymore like he was still on top of his game. I remember kinda forcing myself to listen to the album, like he was the same MC. The production started lacking after Muddy Waters too. Easily my favorite rapper from '92 to like '97, but he fell off after that third album.

this has to be about skill.

cuz Redman fell off for a while now in all other aspects of his career including hit making.

Eh, he kinda did

Its just he never had a hugely hugely dissappointing album that sticks out for people to say if he did
