I think it's the messenger too.

This is the same n*gga that drove to Queens from f*cking Newark and walked through Queensbridge ALONE with the hammer, looking for Mobb Deep because of a line Prodigy said on a song, that felt like he was speaking about Keith Murray. Now he's talking some kumbaya sh*t.

Reggie need to knock it off.
So he should have the same mentality as a 50 something year old as he did in his 20s?

I wasn't going to run into any Humanwreck album in Miami. Red was moving different back then. That reminds me that our very own underground rhyming Queen, Mother Superia worked with Red too. He produced this and you can hear his voice on the hook. He was all over working with the underground on the west as well. Red was a real one.

I remember this joint!

This was back when Funk Doc was making all those dope beats for other artists.

Such a dope era!

They can tow that line as long as they want, nobody is gonna convince most people. Dude dropped a bullshyt diss, pulled it back, and THEN tried to come back outside and talk shyt. "Oh I could have killed them if it was real..." nah man shut up. Not to mention the bot reference, which is hilarious in light of yesterday's legal news lol.

Ya lost. You removed yourself from contention. It's over for you. So please just release a dope album of concept records and conscious raps because that tough talk shyt? Over.
nikkas purposely misunderstood his line about not losing a battle. And just cause Drake lost that dumb ass lawsuit doesn't mean both them nikkas wasn't using bots. Nobody on earth gonna convince me of that shyt.

J stupid. He could have literally said, this looks personal with you Drake. This is between yall. I'll battle you after this, one on one. Instead he dropped a diss then said Nah I'm out. Weak

All while almost certainly texting/coordinating with Drake. I genuinely believe he heard Family Matters and decided to bow out. He probably thought Kendrick was about to get nuked. And the fact that the opposite happened is probably eating his soul because it's just another feather in the Kenny cap (alongside classic albums, classic singles, big moments, etc). No one will ever convince me that Cole's entire "I'm the best" heel turn post KOD wasn't him trying to get at Kendrick. Not with a diss but as a skill comparison. As Kendrick seemed to be veering away from rapping, Cole was doubling down on it. So for all that effort to get blown up like this, with Kendrick coming out the defacto winner...it's burning his soul.

I didn't even think of that. It's probably the case and why he even flexed like that on First Person Shooter. J backing down and leaving Drake out there like that makes him a bigger goof because he couldn't even look out for his mans lol. He needs to explain this shyt because something doesn't add up on J's part. At all.

Right. Joe Frazier decided to not fight Ali. Painful, because on a real level. Cole had so many angles to attack Kendrick from it was unreal.

a then used the WORST one (his catalog). Thats why unless you battle, you aint battle ready or battle tested.
Cole had absolutely no angles on Dot :skip:
I don’t know what yall smoking but it was never going to go Cole’s way
Everybody knows this except thecoli:skip:

Showed you who was leaps and bounds above the other
Cole was so scared of Dot
He literally regulated that man to just hooks and ad libs:skip:

This is why all this shyt is disingenuous around Cole
nikkas called him boring for years until he gave all his effort on Boblo boat
Which made the switch for some people to take him serious
He had stand out features after that
Then he signed Jid and other nikkas around him to give that illusion of a real spitta
Even them nikkas made a joke on him

Then got Lebron/Dwade dunked on
On his own mixtape by Kendrick affiliates:mjlol:
nikkas got stop with the smoke screens and redirects
You can’t call yourself the Shogun and run when Genghis Khan hops out the Cutless:mjlol:
Yeah Aubrey spiraled and has made himself a laughing stock
But the one thing I will always give him credit for was at least standing on it
Riding your bike on the beach and trying to play hippy after the fact
Then releasing a record on what you would’ve done is straight hoe shyt and he should never get play in anybody’s ride after running from a fade

Facts!

He had a lot of clones during '92-'96. Labels were signing an insane number of fake Redman's. So he would usually diss those guys too, lol. There was one dude who actually looked EXACTLY like him and sounded like him. Sh*t was wild!
That Humanwreck nikka? Even had ads in The Source looking like Reggie :russ:

And a lot of people believed it, especially those on here. Cole became the hero because he was the only one still doing it at the level he was doing it. Kendrick was gone, Drake stopped rapping about being the best and shifted focus to whatever genre he cared about at the moment. Cole positioned himself as that guy who cared about bars and competition and battling, things that the best rappers thrived on in the golden age of hip hop. He was finally an elite lyricist, so nobody thought he couldn't talk the way he was talking.

The problem is that people thought Kendrick couldn't do it anymore, and I know that pissed him off. The world still thought he had something to prove because Mr. Morale wasn't the comeback album they wanted and it was his first one in five years. Then "First Person Shooter" came out and it gave Kendrick what he needed to push the button. He finally took Drake out, and told everyone who had Cole at #1 to readjust their rankings because that spot still belonged to him. Now, Cole can never claim that spot again, and it's all because he stepped in the ring and forfeited out of fear that he couldn't win.

Was it Joe Sinister or someone else?

Nah, Joe was actually dope. It's a shame he didn't last long in the business.

Joe was kinda stealing Redman's vibe, but he was down with Erick. This other dude was just some random cat who was doing Red's whole look and sound around DIAD time. It was bad bad.

Word I actually enjoyed all 2 songs I've heard him on. I was listening to an interview with Erick and he said Joe Sinister was Jam Master Jay's artist, maybe he got lost in that RAL/JMJ Records/Def Jam shuffle.

Yeah, he was on JMJ, like Onyx.
Was this the same Joe Sinister Jayo Felony dissed?
