Like whom exactly? They already tried reaching out to Seattle's coordinators and Charlotte's and it didn't pan out. Everyone else remaining either still under contract or wasn't leaving. And I bet you even if one did, unless that team won a Superbowl, y'all still be crying about how so & so is a bum.

I think Mike Zimmer would have been a better choice. I'm hoping the Vikings don't get him.

:wtf:

I'd rather go with Todd Bowles or Ray Horton.

Zimmer nikka? He's a great coordinator but a COACH? *Red Mccombs voice* :troll:

Greg Roman or Vic Fangio, both guys with a proven track record of success in college and NFL, though I could understand if they wanted someone right away. Didn't know they reached out to Seattle and NC.

Yep, they tried to go after Seattle's OC and the Panther's DC. The issue is availability and if those people even want to go to the Redskins Organization, and also if they would actually fit. Gruden already have a history among the staff already there and a good rapport with Bruce Allen, so it's not that a surprise.

I dunno if this is a good thing or not, but after the bumping of heads between Shanahan and Snyder, I think they wanted to find someone where they feel comfortable that they'll all be on the same sheet of music.

But we shall see. Redskins has a history of imploding once getting good.

Also, keeping Raheem Morris or Haslett or both only serves as the reason they wanted Gruden. That Tampa/Floridian connection they all have, Bruce Allen included. (my mistake on thinking Allen was GM when they made the Superbowl)

Why the hell did so many of you think it was gonna be Jon? That dude loves watching football, talking about it and sharing his knowledge. Do you really think he's gonna give up doing that and making millions, to go back into some stressful ass head coaching position? In a weak ass team? I wouldn't bet on it.
